  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 8 ounces Ramen noodles
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the ramen noodles and red pepper flakes (if using) to the simmering broth. Cook according to package directions until the noodles are tender.
  • Serve hot, garnished as desired.

Notes

Garnish with green onions, a soft-boiled egg, or a drizzle of sriracha for extra flavor.
