Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the cheese, ham or sausage, onion, and bell pepper.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly golden.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Cover and bake when ready to serve, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
